YOU WON'T WANT TO MISS THESEDuck Race - The Duck Race finishes at 4.30pm on Sunday on Cromford Meadows by the bridge. If you watch from the bridge be aware of traffic.
Pisani’s at High Peak Junction are having another open day on Saturday.
They have car parking on site, or if the weather is good you may prefer to walk down the canal. Don’t miss the little Orthodox chapel.
Good Luck Mine - The mine on Via Gellia will be open for visits on Sunday. You have to buy a ticket as visits are at set times and numbers will be restricted.
Tickets will be on sale on Saturday by the marquee on Scarthin.
Willersley Castle - Tours of Willersley Castle and its grounds will be on Sunday only.
The Parish Map - A number of local people signed up to develop a Parish Map for Cromford. See how they are getting on at their stall opposite the Boat Inn.
More for children - In response to comments, we’ve tried to put on more events to involve children this year.
Arts Development. - Derbyshire Dales have given us a generous grant so we can have this event. On Friday the playgroup and the school will be helped to make musical instruments out of junk materials. And then they will parade with them round the village after the school fete on Saturday.
Parachute Games - Outside the School on Saturday
Dancing Dogs. Annette Lowe's Dancing Dogs will be appearing at St Mary's Church on Saturday at 2pm and Sunday at 3pm.

Opening Ceremony - 7pm in the Community Centre.Local musician Lester Simpson will be opening Celebrating Cromford and presenting prizes for the short story competition and the children's painting competition.
The ceremony will be followed by Cromford Community Band in concert.
7.30 pm Traction engine tug up The Hill from the Market Place.
All weekend Beer festival at the Bell Inn.
SATURDAY AND SUNDAY 19th and 20th June
Stalls - 10am-4pm - There will be stalls on Scarthin on Saturday and Sunday.
There will also be stalls on North Street on Saturday only.
Refreshments - 10am-4pm. • Available at the Methodist Church, Water Lane.
• St Mary's Church on Mill Lane will be putting on cream teas and holding a Flower Festival.
• 12noon to 5pm. The Brooks family at Quarry Cottage, 54 The Hill. Wood fired pizzas in the garden. Hand made silver jewellery. In aid of Derbyshire Autism Support Group.
• 12noon onwards, barbecue at the Community Centre. Saturday only

• See the Frasers - Saturday only. Plant sales,

Circus skills workshop. From 1pm to 3pm at the Methodist Church.
Helen Shilladay, folk singer. 2.30pm in the Marquee, Scarthin.
Treasure Hunt, 3.30pm at the Marquee, Scarthin.
