The Project aims to produce an artistic, visually appealing and informative village map which will give everyone in the community a sense of Cromford's history, its unique heritage and its relevance today. The map will be distributed free to every household in the village.
So far, we have been meeting monthly at The Bell to discuss what the map might look like and what aspects of village life and heritage could be shown. We hope to showcase some visual and verbal outlines of the village map at Celebrating Cromford in June 2010.

The results of the survey questionnaire returns from February’s open meeting can be seen here. They do give some clear indications where we should go next and what we should attempt to represent on the map/map boards.
The next committee meeting is on 20th April.
